Security Footer Message in Scriptly Emails

From time-to-time, we will send you various types of emails. Some of our emails to you will be promotional in nature. But for the most part, our emails to you will contain aspects of your account and/or account activity. Our emails to you, will typically contain your name and professional title as represented in your Scriptly account. We take these steps to help you distinguish authentic Scriptly emails from "phishing" email messages. "Phishing" emails often look very similar to legitimate ones, but they likely wouldn't have this personalized information and may also contain links that direct you to malicious sites instead of Scriptly.

By default, your professional headline in the security footer message consists of your current position and the company listed on your Scriptly Profile. You may customize this professional headline at any time by accessing your account and clicking on the settings icon in the top right of your page.

While the presence of this security footer message alone doesn't guarantee that an email is legitimate, it gives you additional assurance that the email originated from Scriptly. Most "phishing" attacks targeting large mailing lists won't have this information.

Fraudsters may use a practice called phishing to try to obtain your sensitive data such as usernames, passwords, and credit card information.

If you suspect that you've received a "phishing" email impersonating Scriptly, please forward the entire email to support@scriptly.me
